Channel One Green Garden Program

Providing land, gardening advice, and tools for families to grow their own produce to supplement their food budgets.

With the generous sharing of several acres at Rochester Covenant Church, Channel One offers the Green Garden program to families who wish to supplement their food budgets with fresh produce that is grown in the garden. In summer 2006, garden plots were utilized by 75 families. The program enables participants to plant, grow, and harvest their own fresh produce to help offset the households food costs.

Registration for the garden is limited on a first come, first serve basis each spring. Please contact Channel One at 507-287-2350 for more information regarding the 2008 registration date.

The garden is located behind Rochester Covenant Church in NW Rochester at 4950 31st Ave NW Rochester, MN.
